- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup cherry jam or preserves
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Spread cherry jam evenly over the crust.
- Combine oats, brown sugar, and cinnamon with the remaining crumb mixture.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the cherry layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.

- Use cold butter for the best texture.
- Let the bars cool completely before slicing.
