Description

A healthy and easy-to-make chocolate chia seed pudding that’s perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Add chia seeds and mix well to prevent clumping.
  3. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, stir and adjust sweetness if needed.
  6. Top with fresh fruit, nuts, or coconut flakes if desired.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For a thicker pudding, add more chia seeds.
