Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 ounces spaghetti, cooked al dente
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms and sauté until tender.
- Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir to coat.
- Gradually pour in chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Combine the sauce with cooked chicken and spaghetti.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Use beef bacon or turkey bacon if you prefer a smoky flavor.
- Substitute white grape juice for any wine called for in other recipes.
- You can make this dish ahead and refrigerate it before baking.
