  • 1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 green onion, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Stir until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Toss fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
  6. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion if desired. Serve hot.
