- 1 lb white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- Oil for frying
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
Instructions
- Cut fish into strips.
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Whisk milk and egg in another bowl.
- Dip fish strips in milk mixture, then coat with flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry fish until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
- Warm tortillas in a dry pan.
- Assemble tacos with fish, cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro.
- Mix sour cream and hot sauce for the topping.
- Serve with lime wedges.

- Corn tortillas can be used instead of flour.
