- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 6 cups crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, combine corn syrup and sugar. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat.
- Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
- Add crispy rice cereal and mix until evenly coated.
- Press mixture into prepared pan.
- Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
- Spread melted mixture over cereal layer.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
- For easier cutting, chill bars briefly before slicing.
- Can substitute corn syrup with honey for different flavor.
