Description

A creamy mac and cheese dish with honey pepper chicken for a sweet and savory twist.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, mix honey and black pepper. Add diced chicken and coat evenly. Cook for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate pot, melt butter. Add flour and stir to make a roux.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
  6. Combine cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and honey pepper chicken. Mix well.
  7. Serve hot.
