- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, mix honey and black pepper. Add diced chicken and coat evenly. Cook for 5 minutes.
- In a separate pot, melt butter. Add flour and stir to make a roux.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add shredded cheese and stir until melted.
- Combine cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and honey pepper chicken. Mix well.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly ground black pepper for better flavor.
- Adjust honey and pepper to taste.
- For extra creaminess, add more cheese.
