Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 250g ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Mix beef, pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, oregano, and milk in a bowl.
  3. Shape mixture into 3cm balls.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides.
  5. Transfer meatballs to a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with pasta or sauce.

Notes

  • Use fresh breadcrumbs for better texture.
  • Do not overmix the meatball mixture.
  • Let meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.
