Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp white grape juice
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, white grape juice, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
  2. Add beef and onion to the marinade, coating well. Let sit for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the marinated beef and onion until beef is browned, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add carrot and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve beef mixture over rice.
  7. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
