- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt.
- Add pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, water, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add a cream cheese frosting.
- Can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free flour.
