Ingredients

  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons pickling salt
  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 teaspoons dill seeds
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans to fit your jars.
  2. Combine vinegar, water, and salt in a pot. Bring to a boil.
  3. Pack beans into sterilized jars. Add garlic, dill seeds, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Pour hot brine over the beans, leaving 1/2 inch headspace.
  5. Seal jars and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
  6. Let cool and store for at least 2 weeks before eating.
