- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions
- Cook ziti pasta al dente according to package directions. Drain.
- Mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, parmesan, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Layer half the pasta in the slow cooker. Top with half the sauce and half the cheese mixture.
- Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top and cook until melted (about 10 minutes).
Notes
- Don’t overcook the pasta initially as it will soften more in the slow cooker.
- You can substitute cottage cheese for ricotta if preferred.
