- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, garlic, egg, milk, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased loaf pan.
- Spread ketchup evenly over the top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For extra spice, add 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
- Use ground beef or chicken if turkey is unavailable.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
