- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt together.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and black food coloring.
- Transfer cream cheese mixture to a piping bag and pipe spiderweb designs on top of the brownie batter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- For a darker web, add more black food coloring.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Serve with whipped cream for extra indulgence.
