- 1 large Vidalia onion
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel the onion and cut off the top.
- Place the onion on a piece of aluminum foil.
- Rub butter on top of the onion.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika over the onion.
- Wrap the onion tightly in foil.
- Bake for 45-60 minutes until tender.
- Unwrap and serve warm.

- Use sweet onions like Vidalia for best results.
- Adjust seasonings to taste.
- Can add cheese or herbs before baking for extra flavor.
