Ingredients

  • 1 cup white rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water.
  2. In a pot, combine rice, water, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove cinnamon stick and add whole milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk.
  5. Stir in sugar and vanilla extract.
  6. Cook on low heat for 30 minutes, stirring often.
  7. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  8. Serve warm or chilled, topped with ground cinnamon.
