- 2 cod fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 green onion, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Place cod fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let sit for 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Drizzle the remaining marinade over the cod while cooking.
- Garnish with sliced green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
- Serve with steamed rice and vegetables.
- Use fresh ginger for the best flavor.
